This piece is the result of a pencil sketch I had sitting on my studio counter for way too long. I must’ve left it out for a reason, because every time I walked by it, I thought, “I should make an ink drawing of that.” Well, this morning, completely by accident, my eye caught sight of the special drawing pens I keep next to my drawing table and… Light bulb! I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a Friday morning.
