Charles Dickens

I began the sketch for this piece a couple of days ago. I recently completed a series of 6 line drawings of characters from the book A Christmas Carol. (More on that later.) During the process I came across various images of Charles Dickens. It would be difficult not to be inspired to paint such an interesting face. Therefore, I followed the inspiration. This is the result.
