From school visits to clubs and organizations, schedule permitting, Guy Porfirio is available to make presentations.

A typical presentation would start with an overview of what an illustrator does, Guy's own background, and then a step-by-step process of how an assignment is received, researched, conceptualized through sketches and then finalized into finished paintings. Guy brings plenty of props, including actual working sketches, digital presentation of work in progress as well as notes and communications from clients.

Guy tailors his presentation to fit his audience. For a young elementary school audience he may ask the children to take turns making up and adding to a story while he sketches their scenes. Kids really enjoy participating and end up coming away with a real sense of their own creative possibilities. An adult audience may want to know more about Guy's background or working procedures.

Average length of time of a presentation is approximately 45 to 50 minutes. Guy will need a digital projector and dry erase board or chalk board.
